Carl Nelson
Mr. Nelson is a Managing Director at Thayer | Hidden Creek, having joined the Firm with the integration of Hidden Creek Partners in 2005. Mr. Nelson currently serves on the Board of Directors of Power & Composite Technologies, Inc. and Naumann/Hobbs Material Handling, Inc. and he works extensively with Herndon Products, Inc.
Mr. Nelson joined Hidden Creek in 1992. While at Hidden Creek, he worked closely with its portfolio companies including Automotive Industries, Tower Automotive and Commercial Vehicle Group. Mr. Nelson assisted in completing over 50 acquisitions and in securing debt financing totaling more than $2 billion. He was also integrally involved in taking four companies public during his tenure at Hidden Creek.
Prior to joining Hidden Creek, Mr. Nelson spent ten years in the Accounting and Advisory Group of Arthur Andersen & Co. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Winona State University.
